Abstract
Today, the Islamic financial system is one of the intensively developing areas. As one of the practical processes, the widespread use of salam contracts as one of the models for financing production and entrepreneurship is used. The article describes the modern meaning of the salam and parallel salam contracts, as well as their features. The terms of the salam contract and the actions that led to their violation were revealed. Emphasis is also placed on the risks that may arise during operations with salam, their types and actions that need to be taken to prevent them. The influence of the salam contract on price changes was analyzed. The conclusion explains the positive aspects of using this type of contract for banks
