Abstract
This article shows ways to increase the export potential of small business and private entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan. The article also makes an attempt to assess the export potential of small business and private entrepreneurship on the basis of an integral indicator. On the basis of surveys conducted with specialists in the foreign economic sphere and heads of enterprises, the main directions for the development of the export potential of small business and private entrepreneurship have been determined. As a result, export-oriented small enterprises have the potential to conduct foreign economic activity, but this potential is not used sufficiently. In the Republic of Uzbekistan, proposals have been made to increase the export potential of export-oriented small enterprises through the development of a long-term program aimed at increasing their competitiveness.
