Abstract
The article examines current issues in technological process automation, describes the principles of compliance in the design of an automated process, discusses the benefits and drawbacks of automation in the manufacturing process, highlights the positive aspects, and reveals a number of issues that businesses face when implementing automation in the manufacturing process
