Abstract

In the article is analyzed the well-being of the population and its level, for which incomes of the population is studied as the main criterion. Initially, on the basis of statistics, the population is disseminated into several groups according to the amount of income, and the share of the population in these groups was also estimated. Subsequent calculations identified indicators such as the difference between the populations having lowest and highest income and the level of income stratification of the population, and conclusions were made based on this data. The purpose of this is to assess the level of provision of the population with material goods and services through the development of the above-mentioned methodology and its implementation, and on its basis to develop general indicators of living standards
