Abstract

This article examines the impact of natural and man-made crises on the tourism sector, strategies for combating the crisis and recovery of the sector, main directions and success factors. In addition, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world tourism market and the country's tourism industry is analyzed, and proposals for the recovery and development of Uzbekistan's tourism industry after the crisis are developed based on scientifically based and effectively applied experiences in combating the crisis.
