Abstract
The article describes the purpose and role of small business and entrepreneurship in the development of the economy, the need for the improvement of business education in the formation of knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, the requirements for the teaching of economic disciplines in order to enhance business education, developed proposals to improve the content and form of modern business education in order to adapt them to current requirements.
