Requirements to keywords

Keywords Express the main semantic content of the article, serve as a guide for the reader and are used to search for articles in electronic databases, so they should reflect the discipline (the field of science in which the article was written), the topic, purpose and object of research.

Both single words and phrases in the singular and nominative case can be used as keywords. The recommended number of keywords is 8-10 in Uzbek, Russian, and English, and the number of words inside a keyword is no more than three. Basic principles of keyword selection:

– apply basic terms together with more complex ones (international trade in tourist services – international trade, tourist service);

– do not use too complex words (phrases that contain more than three words can often be divided into several keywords (factors and indicators of competitiveness-competitiveness factor, competitiveness indicator)); phrases with commas (factors that determine quality-quality factors, quality definition);

– each keyword is an independent element. Keywords should have their own meaning (human capital, its assessment-human capital, human capital assessment).
